Who We Are
The Illinois Action Center was built on a simple premise: The people who use a service should have a say in how it works. Too often, the laws governing your local dispensary are debated by people who have never stood in line for medication or tried to run an errand on a tight schedule. Legislators debate policy in the abstract and you navigate the results every single day. It shouldn’t work that way.
Our Mission
Our mission is to simply bring the customer’s perspective to the legislative table. When Springfield considers a new bill, they hear from lobbyists and political insiders. We exist to ensure they also hear from YOU, the people who live, work, and vote in their districts.
